Security Officer – Malton, North Yorkshire

Job description:

Vistech Services are looking to recruit a Security Officer in Malton to be based in assisted accommodation, housing for vulnerable tenants.

This is a challenging but rewarding role for the right person who has the experience and knowledge gained through living.
Excellent pay rate above National Minimum Wage
£12.02 per hour

Key responsibilities:

– Monitoring access to site, preventing access to those who are not allowed entry
– Register visitors on arrival and leaving the building
– Monitoring CCTV
– Liaise with young people
– Handover after every shift
– Incident reporting and escalating to emergency services if required

What we need from you:

– Approachable and friendly with experience and knowledge gained through living
– Ability to deal with a diverse range of people
– Excellent customer services skills
– Ability to deal with incidents that may be of a sensitive nature
– Good written and verbal communications

Person specification:

– SIA Licence (required)
– Enhanced DBS (required)
– Experience as a Security Officer in a similar sector (preferred)
– Able to commute to Malton, YO17 9HX; reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Employment details:

– Working on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern which will include most weekends and night shifts
– Shifts are 21:00 – 09:00
– Contracted to an average of 42 hours per week

Pay: £12.02 per hour
