Security Officer Sheltered Accommodation – Richmond, North Yorkshire

Job description:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Security Officer to be based in supported housing located in Richmond.

Supported housing is offered to those affected by:
– Homeless or at risk of homelessness
– Leaving prison or on probation
– Leaving care
– Domestic abuse.

This role will be challenging yet rewarding and offers the opportunity to support vulnerable adults. You must be confident in diffusing confrontations, dealing with sensitive issues and you must have excellent communication skills.

Job Specifics:

4 on 4 off shift pattern (17:00 – 02:00)
Contracted to an average of 32 hours per week with scope for overtime.
£11.55 per hour

You will need:

– SIA Licence AND Enhanced DBS
– Driving Licence and your own vehicle
– The ability to get on with people of all ages and backgrounds and gain their trust
– Tact, patience and understanding
– Excellent communication skills
– The ability to cope with challenging situations and clients.
