Security Officer – Meadowfield & Peterlee

Job description
Vistech Services are seeking a permanent Security Officer to work on a Council Depots in both Meadowfield, Durham and Peterlee.

12 Hour shifts, Days, Nights and Weekends. Two shifts in Meadowfield and one shift in Peterlee per week guaranteed with overtime readily available.

Pay rate £10.52 per hour.
Contracted to 36 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
~ Be able to commit to the rota pattern.
~ Be vigilant, always, to ensure security and protection of the Customer’s site.
~ Manning of the gatehouse.
~ Patrolling of the site
~ CCTV Monitoring
~ Protection of Council property
~ Checking documents and liaising with council staff.
~ Deal with any incidents in a timely and professional manner.
~ Report any incidents that occur clearly and in a timely manner.
~ Respond to and relay telephone calls

• Follow assignment instructions to ensure protection of site.

Person Specification
• Must have an SIA Licence.
• Driver with their own vehicle or ability to get to site locations for an early start.
• Must have Emergency First Aid At Work and Defib qualification OR be willing to undertake the course in house.
