Security Officer – Scarborough
Job description
Vistech Services are looking to recruit a Security Officer in Scarborough to be based in assisted accommodation, housing for vulnerable tenants.
This is a challenging but rewarding role for the right person who has the experience and knowledge gained through living.
Excellent pay rate above National Minimum Wage
£11.50 per hour
Key responsibilities
Monitoring access to site, preventing access to those who are not allowed entry
Register visitors on arrival and leaving the building
Monitoring CCTV
Liaise with young residents
Handover after every shift
Incident reporting and escalating to emergency services if required
What we need from you
· Approachable and friendly with experience and knowledge gained through living
· Ability to deal with a diverse range of people
· Excellent customer services skills
· Ability to deal with incidents that may be of a sensitive nature
· Good written and verbal communications
Person Specification:
• SIA Licence required
• Experience as a Security Officer or within a similar sector
Employment Details
• Working on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern which will include weekends, and night shifts.
• Shifts are 21:00 – 04:00
• Hourly rate of £11.50
