Rail Security Officer – Staithes
Vistech Services are seeking a permanent Security Officer for the Staithes area.
DAYS AND NIGHTS!!! INCLUDING WEEKENDS! Would need to be flexible to cover all shifts when required due to business need.
Pay rate £10.52 per hour.
Contracted to 42 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
-Be flexible with working hours to cover any shifts that are required to be covered.
-Be vigilant, always, to ensure security and protection of the Customer’s site.
-Carry out patrols of site within specified periods.
-Carry out safety railroad checks (full training will be provided.)
-Deal with any incidents in a timely and professional manner.
-Report any incidents that occur clearly and in a timely manner.
What we need from you
· Confident in dealing with incidents, in a calm manner, following procedures in place.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Follow assignment instructions to ensure protection of site.
Person Specification
• Must have an SIA Licence.
• Driver with their own vehicle due to location (preferably in local area.)
• Flexibility to cover any shifts at short notice.
• Weighbridge experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
• IT Literate
Employment Details
• Usual shift pattern would be 12 hr shifts working 4 on 4 off on a rolling rota.
• Working shift patterns when required to cover any unallocated shifts including weekends.
• Overtime will be available for sickness / holiday cover.
• Free use of on-site gym.
• P.T.S Certification provided by employer.
• Regular drug tests are undertaken, one must be passed prior to employment.
