Security Officer in Catterick

Vistech are looking to recruit a Security Officer in Catterick to be based in assisted accommodation housing for homeless tenants.
This is a challenging but rewarding role for the right person who has the experience and knowledge gained through living.

Excellent pay rate above National Minimum Wage
£11.55 per hour

Key responsibilities
Monitoring access to site, preventing access to those who are not allowed entry
Monitoring CCTV
Register visitors on arrival and leaving the building
Completion of daily handover log
Provide peace of mind to the service users
Incident reporting and escalating to emergency services if required

What we need from you
· Approachable and friendly with experience and knowledge gained through living
· Ability to deal with a diverse range of people
· Excellent customer services skills
· Ability to deal with incidents that may be of a sensitive nature
· Good written and verbal communications

Person Specification:
· SIA Licence required
· Experience as a Security Officer or within a similar sector
. Full UK Driving Licence with use of own car or ability to get to and from site

Employment Details
• Working shift pattern which will include most weekends, 4 on 4 off pattern 9:30pm-3:30am.
• Contracted to an average of 20 hours per week
• Overtime readily available
• Hourly rate of £11.55
