Security Guard at Consett
Vistech Services are seeking a Security Officer to work in Consett Durham and across the North East.
Rota Pattern: includes days, nights and weekends, must be flexible
Main security duties are access control, site inductions, weighbridge operation, deliveries using an electronic vehicle, CCTV monitoring, providing a visual presence through site patrols outside of normal working hours and lock down of site / buildings at end of day shifts.
Security will provide a roll call in the event of an emergency / site evacuation.

– Dealing with incidents and reporting in a timely manner
What you need:
– A welcoming and professional demeanour
– Excellent, fluent English
– Smart and well presented individual
– Conscientious and alert
– Cheerful with a can do attitude
– Confident when dealing with people and outgoing
– Confident in dealing with incidents, in a calm manner, following procedures in place
– Good verbal and written communication skills
– Follow assignment instructions to ensure protection of site
Person Specification:
– Must have an SIA Security Guard SG or Door Supervisor DS, or Close Protection CP Licence
– Driver with their own vehicle or ability to get to site location for an early start
– Able to start asap
