SIA Upskilling Training

The Level 2 Award for ‘Upskilling a Door Supervisor Working within the Private Security Industry’ is a mandatory qualification for those seeking to renew their SIA Door Supervisors Licence.

This also applies to those who gained a Door Supervisor qualification prior to June 2010 or whose qualification did not include the Physical Intervention module (this also applies to some qualifications awarded between June and September 2010).

Our upskilling qualification have been developed to meet the mandatory SIA top up training requirement for Door Supervisors who undertook their training prior to June 2010. The qualification meets the SIA’s mandatory top-up requirements and appropriately qualified learners who complete the qualification will be eligible to apply to renew their SIA Door Supervisors licence.

How long is the training course?
It has been designed to be completed in 2 Days (1 and half day) (SIA mandatory minimum required time).

Course assessment: Assessed by a 25-question multiple-choice examination this is set by Authority and marked by the tutor.
