Vistech Services is looking for a motivated, AAT or ACCA qualified experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis to join our growing company. Vistech is a stable, well ran company and has been trading profitability and successfully and now in our 14thyear. We currently have a workforce of over 200 and a number of blue-chip companies within our client portfolio. Vistech is made up of 3 companies, Services, Training and Personnel.

To be successful in this role, you must have advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce accurate financial figures and reports.

Responsibilities and Duties

Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
Maintaining ledgers up to trial balance (accruals, journals, bank reconciliations)
Invoicing accurately and precisely and a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Processing payments
Payroll management of monthly, weekly, 4 weekly and ad hoc payroll
VAT PAYE and other HMRC related requisitions as required
Managing budgets and indicating where savings could be made
Spotting discrepancies and investigating unusual patterns or spends
Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
Inputting a high level of data into our Payroll Software Programme, Sage
Supporting and servicing any payroll queries without support from other departments unless needed
Producing and reconciling payroll reports and performing period end
Posting and allocation of cash to Clients accounts
Managing/overseeing our in house Credit Controller
Dealing with Client account queries and reconciling their accounts
Performing and maintaining accurate records for payroll and credit control
Any other reasonable management requests
Qualifications and Skills

Excellent attention to detail, ability to check precisely ensuring figures, working and reports are correct and exact
Knowledge or working experience of Xero and willingness to develop training in this software
Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills including the ability to work to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads where necessary
Ability to work on own initiative & as a member of a team
Advanced Excel skills and ability to use Microsoft packages – e.g. Word, Outlook
